Can I install it myself?
Yes. The racking is designed for containers and goes in with a spanner and a screwdriver. A three-level bay takes about 25 minutes.
Can it be removed?
Yes. Undo the hook bolts and lift it out. Nothing is drilled, so the container is left as it was. Self storage operators rely on this.
Can the container be moved with the racking in?
Yes, as long as the decks are empty and every fixing is tight.
How much can the shelves carry?
It depends on the system and the arm depth. Standard Duty arms carry 150 kg at 450 mm, 100 kg at 600 mm and 75 kg at 750 mm, and the upright 600 kg. Heavy Duty arms carry 300 kg and the upright 900 kg. Spread loads evenly along each deck.
